Ten local families are a step closer to owning a home as Habitat for Humanity of Greater Birmingham launches its 18th annual Home Builders Blitz, a project aimed at turning empty lots into “new beginnings.”
The blitz brings builders, tradespeople, volunteers and future homeowners together to build 10 homes from foundation to finish in eight days.
