For seafood lovers in Newton, high-quality lobster arrived on wheels this week. Cousins Maine Lobster, a food truck franchise that gained national recognition after appearing on the TV show Shark Tank, hosted a pop-up event at Chestnut Hill Square on Thursday.
The truck’s menu features a variety of lobster-based dishes, including rolls, tacos, grilled cheese, and quesadillas. For those looking for something warm, the truck also serves lobster bisque and soup. Doing pop-ups in the Boston area has proven to be a natural fit for the franchise, explained James Bining, a driver and assistant manager for the truck
“Boston has been great. Everybody wants lobster because we’re close to the coast,” Bining said. “Other areas are a little slower, but we try to hit as much as we can.”…
