Owner of The Street opposes Brookline’s planned development project over parking fears

There’s another new wrinkle in the winding process of rezoning a Chestnut Hill office park for commercial development, and it centers around a familiar local issue: parking.

In a letter sent to Brookline planning staff last week, WS Development, which owns The Street shopping center, wrote to oppose the zoning that is set for a Town Meeting vote this May after two years of planning.
