Logan Airport travelers now have an easy new tool to dodge TSA backups

Travelers passing through Logan International Airport in Boston can now view a live online report of security checkpoint wait times, allowing them to better plan their arrival at the airport ahead of a flight.

The Massachusetts Port Authority, or Massport, which owns the airport, announced the new dashboard Monday, saying it “reflects current conditions at each checkpoint” at Logan.

Around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, the tracker showed wait times at Terminal A’s regular security checkpoints fluctuating between five and seven minutes. TSA PreCheck wait times in the terminal were as low as a minute, according to the dashboard, which can be found on Massport’s website and on the FlyLogan mobile app…
