The Lafayette cyclist found dead on a bike trail in Louisville in July died of heart disease, according to his autopsy.
William McGinley, 72, died naturally of atherosclerotic and valvular heart disease, according to a Boulder County Coroner’s Office autopsy report. McGinley had existing heart conditions related to his cause of death, the coroner concluded.
McGinley was found dead on July 30 in the Coyote Run Open Space area in Louisville after going missing the day before.
