Erie police have determined a driver who was seen in the area of a hit-and-run crash that killed a 2-year-old in southeast Erie in February was not involved in the crash.
Investigators identified the driver of a white Cadillac Escalade after asking for the community’s help in April, according to Amber Luttrell, an Erie police spokesperson. Police interviewed the driver and determined they were not involved.
Police continue to investigate another person of interest, which could take several weeks, Luttrell said. The department is still waiting to receive crime lab testing results…
