Woman Shot in Arm During Brooklyn Dispute as Gunman Opens Fire Outside Stillwell Avenue Building

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 23-year-old woman was shot in the arm after an argument escalated into gunfire outside a Brooklyn building earlier this month, and New York police are now searching for the suspect accused of pulling the trigger.

The shooting happened around 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, in front of 2249 Stillwell Avenue within the confines of the NYPD’s 60th Precinct and Police Service Area 1, according to NYPD Crimestoppers.

Investigators said an unidentified man became involved in a verbal dispute with a group before displaying a firearm and firing at least one shot, striking the woman in her left arm.
