BRIDGEPORT — At least three state agencies are investigating the death of a 41-year-old inmate found with a ligature around his neck shortly after being placed in state Department of Correction custody, officials say.
The state Office of the Inspector General and Connecticut State Police are investigating the death of Khaled Youssef, 41, of New York, who was arrested by state police on June 16, according to court documents and a DOC news release.
