A World Trade Center steel beam that is on a 10,500-mile journey across the U.S. will make its final stop in New Jersey.
The “Steel Across America” tour has been underway since May 2, with the beam recovered after 9/11 displayed on a tractor-trailer with fold-down sides. The tour will culminate with a final stop at a New York Giants game at MetLife Stadium on Sept. 13, organizers announced Tuesday.
