Downtown coffee shop and meeting space closes

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A coffee shop in downtown Buffalo is closing its doors less than a year after it opened.

The owner of Third Space Cafe on Main Street said on social media that she came to the decision after struggles with her mental health. The shop opened just seven months ago, on the corner of Main and Goodell.

The formerly vacant restaurant space had become a home to people looking for a place to hang out other than home, school, or work…
