INDIANAPOLIS — Charges have been filed against a father and son who allegedly assaulted a former friend while the victim was sitting in his car in the parking lot of a bar.
According to online court records, warrants are out for the arrests of Deshawn Young and Deshawn T. Young II on charges of aggravated battery for both, and a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon for Young.
The victim and Young II used to be good friends, but according to court documents, had ongoing issues, which began when Young II heard a rumor that the victim had made fun of Young II’s brother dying from a heroin overdose.
