INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan police announced an arrest in connection with a shooting from more than two years ago.
Around 11:30 p.m. on March 16, 2024, officers were dispatched to a reported shooting in the 3700 block of Breen Drive where they found a woman had been shot multiple times. She was taken to an area hospital.
Aggravated Assault detectives investigating the case eventually identified 27-year-old Isaac Holmes as the suspect.
On April 8, 2026, the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for Holmes’ arrest based on the two-year investigation into the shooting. Investigators also discovered Holmes was a serious violent felon who was prohibited from having a firearm…
