The first Fullsteam Brewing opened in an old 7-Up bottling plant in an industrial neighborhood in Durham, helping to turn the Geer Street corridor into the city’s busiest nightlife district.
A decade and a half later, Fullsteam begins again, now in the furnace that forged Durham itself, the old power plant of the American Tobacco Campus.
Fullsteam unveils its new ATC space this week, opening the taproom, restaurant, lounge and events space after two years of planning and construction.
