A pre-dawn shooting in Denver’s Sunnyside neighborhood sent one person to the hospital early Wednesday, after gunfire was reported in the 4300 block of North Pecos Street, according to police. Investigators quickly labeled the case an active investigation as they started working to pin down who pulled the trigger.
