Chandler city manager’s ‘bet’ early on paid off
John Pombier said one of the reasons he is Chandler’s city manager today is because he bet on himself when he was young. “I came out here to go to law school,” Pombier said. “I was an assistant city prosecutor in Phoenix, and the truth of that story is I decided very early in my career to take a chance.”
