Cheyenne High teacher gets surprise sendoff before Honor Flight
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) —An 81-year-old teacher in the special education department walked into the Cheyenne High School gym and was met with a surprise sendoff before his Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. He is scheduled to leave Friday morning to tour war memorials with other local Vietnam and Korean War veterans.
Man who stole Salvation Army bus, caused deadly crash reaches plea deal
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The man responsible for crashing a stolen Salvation Army bus into a motorcyclist in Las Vegas, killing the rider, has reached a guilty plea agreement. According to court records, Jalen Felton has agreed to plead guilty to Duty to Stop at the Scene of a Crash Involving Death or Personal Injury. Other charges have been dismissed.
More than 40 animals rescued from ‘unsafe conditions’ at Henderson residence
HENDERSON (FOX5) — The City of Henderson Animal Protection Services (APS) removed dozens of animals from a residence after finding unsafe, unsanitary conditions. According to officials, APS officers found about 40 animals living at the home, located near Galleria Drive and Eastgate Road, in what they described as neglectful, unsanitary conditions.
