NEW ORLEANS — Some community leaders in the Ninth Ward are vowing not to give up on their dream of having a high school in the neighborhood. After rebuilding and reopening nearly a decade ago, the Orleans school board voted to close MLK High School, but some in the community say the fight is not over.
