CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Clemson University’s Department of Plant Industry is refining the quarantine zone for the invasive Asian longhorned beetle in Charleston and Dorchester counties after six years of eradication efforts.
The updated quarantine boundaries will take effect Aug. 23 and reflect both new detections of the insect in one area and progress toward eliminating it in another, according to Clemson officials.
