EDISTO ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office reported a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred on Saturday, April 18, on Edisto Island.
Deputies responded to the intersection of Highway 174 and Oak Island Road after a report of the collision. The agency says that the initial investigation indicates that a midsize sedan was traveling westbound on Highway 174 when “the driver lost control and struck a tree.”
