LADSON, S.C. (WCBD) — Mother’s Day flowers are in high demand, but local florists say rising costs could mean higher prices for bouquets this year. We are just one day away from Mother’s Day, and while many shoppers are still searching for the perfect gift, rising gas prices and supply challenges are impacting flower costs nationwide.
At Herby’s Flower Shop in Ladson, owner Michelle Summers says this is one of the busiest times of the year even surpassing Valentine’s Day.
