Two people arrested for trafficking meth in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — Two people were arrested Monday afternoon after North Charleston police allegedly discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside an illegally parked SUV near Dorchester Road.

According to the North Charleston Police Department, officers were conducting proactive patrols in an area known for narcotics activity and violent crime when they spotted the vehicle.

Police said officers recognized both the SUV and its driver, 47-year-old Shaun Jeremiah O’Shea of North Charleston, from suspected narcotics-related activity. Officers later approached the vehicle after O’Shea and a passenger, identified as 26-year-old Sonni Nicole Hogg of Moncks Corner, returned to the area…
