CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The South Carolina Aquarium will debut “Jurassic Seas” on June 6, transporting visitors roughly 70 million years back in time to explore the underwater giants of the Late Cretaceous Period.
Visitors can expect more than a dozen life-size skeletal replicas and fossils showcasing some of the ocean’s ancient predators. The exhibit will include two massive Tylosaurus skeletons suspended in the aquarium’s Great Hall, stretching a combined length of more than 80 feet overhead.
Guests can also step inside a larger-than-life megalodon jaw photo opportunity designed to deliver equal parts awe and social media bragging rights, according to the aquarium…
