SULLIVANS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – The Sullivans Island Fire Department could be soon under review by an outside agency. It comes after a February house fire which has raised major concerns about the departments response capacity.
After a nearly two-hour meeting on Friday, Sullivan’s Island leaders approved the finalized scope of a request for proposal, or RFP, that could lead to an outside review of the Sullivan’s Island Fire Department following concerns surrounding a February house fire response.
