NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Residents at the Ferndale Mobile Home Park in North Charleston say they are scrambling to figure out their next steps after receiving notice they must vacate the property by May 31—just 12 days away.
Families say the notice came after the land was sold to a new owner, identified by residents as New Tides LLC. Many say they own their mobile homes but rent the land underneath them, making relocation both complicated and costly.
