HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — We’re hearing from a mother in Hamilton County as authorities continue to investigate her daughter’s disappearance and death.
Authorities say Donte Taylor dragged Elysia Kinsella’s body from a motel room into the parking lot, then accidentally ran her over. He has since been charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
Kinsella’s mother, Melissa Kinsella, told us the situation is heartbreaking.
“You try to prepare yourself for the worse but you can’t, you know? Finding out what happened to her — it makes me angry with him, you know what I mean? Because I’m like hurt that — I just hope she didn’t suffer or anything, you know?” Melissa said.
Melissa said she had Elysia shortly after she graduated high school. She described her daughter as goofy, empathetic, and a lover of animals…
