CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Filling up in Chattanooga just got more expensive.
Gas prices across the Chattanooga area jumped 16.5 cents over the past week, bringing the average price of regular gasoline to $3.44 a gallon, according to GasBuddy’s weekly survey of 170 local stations.
That’s 14.2 cents higher than a month ago and nearly 73 cents more than this time last year.
