Fort Oglethorpe, GA.- Standing since 1904, the Old Post Hospital has been a relic for the people of Fort Oglethorpe but that might soon end.
As development changes come to Fort Oglethorpe, it is leaving residents concerned about preserving the history of it. That is why there is a petition going around trying to preserve the historical Old Post Hospital.
“Is that somebody who acquires this property is going to do something special with this old hospital keeping in mind what the community with the historical society wants to do something that really works well with the city of Fort Oglethorpe with their efforts and also with the national park, that’s right behind us too.” says John Pless, Public Information Officer for Catoosa County…
