HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Hamilton County school board members narrowly voted down a request Thursday night that would have allowed Chattanooga Prep to enroll more students.
It’s a decision that comes as the charter school continues to face scrutiny more than a year after an investigation found it had hired an uncertified teacher who was convicted of crimes against students at the school.
