CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — It’s getting close to the beginning of a new school year, and on Saturday, volunteers worked on getting Chattanooga area students ready for when the bell rings.
They stuffed backpacks with school supplies like crayons, paper and pencils.
It’s part of the Nehemiah Project R3’s Backpack Chattanooga Pack Day.
For the last 26 years, the Project has made sure students in need have the tools to succeed and parents aren’t forced to make a tough decision…
