NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two pit bulls were struck by gunfire, one fatally, after hurting two people Sunday afternoon on Lind Street, according to Norfolk Police.
On Aug. 30, four pit bulls escaped a collapsed backyard fence in the 4700 block of Lind Street around 2:30 p.m. and chased two adults, causing minor injuries.
Police said a nearby resident discharged a firearm as the dogs charged toward him while he attempted to help the two victims…
