CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A man has life-threatening injuries after a truck crashed into a train on Yadkin Road Thursday afternoon, Chesapeake police said.
Chesapeake Police responded to the scene around 4 p.m. for a reported collision involving a vehicle and a train. Police said the truck overturned as a result of the crash in the 2900 block of Yadkin Road, and there was a minor fuel-related hazmat situation identified at the scene, but added there was no immediate danger to the public.
