Harold Buford said he spent decades addicted to heroin and other drugs, but a woman with the Cook County Sheriff’s treatment response team helped him turn his life around some eight years ago.
Ever since, he’s been looking for that woman to thank her for helping save his life. After years of searching, he recently got the opportunity to make that dream a reality…
