DARIEN, Ill. — Pre-trial release has been denied for a Clarendon Hills woman accused of leading police on a high-speed chase and biting an officer during her arrest.
Aviance Carson, a 26-year-old Clarendon Hills resident, has been charged with one count of aggravated battery to a government employee and one count of aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer. Additionally, she is also facing charges in connection with multiple misdemeanor and petty offenses, including battery, obstructing a police officer and leaving the scene of an accident involving damage to an attended vehicle, DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin announced Monday.
