HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Mayor James R. Knight presented the Hopkinsville Police Department’s paw-trol officer with a dog friendly key to the city before he and his owner move out of the city.
“This evening we want to recognize the distinguished service of Bolo…because every good boy deserves an official recognition and a well-earned reward,” said Knight alongside Police Chief Jason Newby. With his favorite toy by his side, Bolo was presented with a certificate of distinguished service and a key to the city that was created from dog treats.
The honor came as Bolo and his owner, Royale Marfil with the Hopkinsville Police Department, prepare to move out of state.
