A Christian County Grand Jury returned several indictments recently in cases involving assault, burglary, theft, drug possession, and weapons charges, according to records released by the Christian Circuit Court.
Among the assault-related indictments, 31-year-old Michael Paxton, of Hopkinsville, was indicted on charges of first-degree strangulation, domestic violence, and fourth-degree assault. The indictment alleges Paxton impeded a woman’s breathing by applying pressure to her throat during a November 2025 incident, and also caused physical injury to another victim.
39-year-old Terrence Silvia, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, was indicted for second-degree assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Court records allege Silvia caused injury with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument during a January 2024 incident in Christian County, and also operated a vehicle without the owner’s consent…
