Man accused of helping orchestrate $25K bank fraud scheme in Southern Kentucky

OAK GROVE, Ky. (WSMV) – Police in Southern Kentucky say they have found one of the people behind a bank fraud scheme that made the culprits $25,000, according to WKDZ.

WKDZ reports that Oak Grove Police arrested 55-year-old Wendell Christmas, of Indiana, in connection with the fraud plot that targeted the Oak Grove Navy Federal Credit Union.

Police told the radio station that Christmas helped coordinate and recruit other criminals to don stolen identities in order to steal money from unsuspecting victims. He’s the second person arrested as part of an investigation into the plot…
