DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — More than 100 cats have been rescued from a property in Dickson County, and now animal organizations are working together to provide support for the animals.
The Humane Society of Dickson County, alongside animal control, responded to a property to assist in what was described as a “large cat colony” on Friday, April 24.

However, when crews arrived, they were reportedly met with 62 kittens—all under five weeks old. According to the Humane Society of Dickson County, nearly all of the kittens were struggling with respiratory infections.
The organization added that five “exhausted mama cats” were attempting to nurse dozens of kittens while suffering from their own health issues.
“Every single one of them was depending on one person to survive, and it has simply become too much,” wrote the humane society in a post about the incident…
