In the Monday, April 27 meeting of the City of Clarksville’s Finance Committee, the committee members voted unanimously to defend and indemnify Clarksville Fire Chief Freddie Montgomery Jr. in a lawsuit filed against him and the City of Clarksville.
Finance Committee members and Clarksville City Councilmen Stacey Streetman, Keri Lovato, Brian Zacharias and Joe Shakeenab all voted in favor of the motion. Councilman Carlos Peters was absent.
