(WJW) — Saturday will not be a washout – there will be plenty of dry time. Scattered showers and a few storms Saturday morning. There will be a break in the rain and storm activity early Saturday afternoon. Additional downpours and storms will not start to develop again until after 3PM.

Depending on how much sunshine there is between the morning rain and the afternoon storms, some of storms that develop during the second half of day could be strong to severe. If strong storms develop, the main threat will be damaging wind gusts and hail. The tornado threat is very low, but not zero. Other concerns could be frequent lightning and brief heavy rain. The storms will likely be gone before 9PM on Saturday.
Sunday will be the pick day this weekend! Sunday will be dry and mostly sunny. Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Despite a cold front moving through on Saturday, Sunday is going to be a muggy day.
We definitely will benefit for any amount of rain, the next two weeks look dry.
