CLEVELAND (WJW) — Former Fox 8 reporter John “Mike” Creagan Sr. passed away July 19 at the age of 80.

For more than 20 years Mike worked at Fox 8 as a news reporter and broadcaster, during which time he had the opportunity to interview the likes of Jimmy Carter, George H. W. Bush, and Luciano Pavarotti.
He also earned his law degree and worked as an attorney until his retirement.
“His greatest joy in life was spending time and sharing adventures with his family including his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren,” an obituary on the Murphy Family Funeral Home website states.
In lieu of flowers, his family is asking that contributions be made in his memory to Church of the Gesu or Edwins Leadership & Restaurant Institute.
