CLEVELAND (WJW) – The FOX 8 I-Team has found a local victim of human trafficking now taking on national hotel chains, fighting back with a federal lawsuit.
“It’s a huge fight,” Brittany Figlar said.
Figlar and her attorney said the lawsuit exposes what went on while she was a victim, alleging the hotels “had actual knowledge of commercial sex and instances of sex trafficking.” And, the hotels “failed to impose brand standards or other mandatory policies to meaningfully address the issue.”…
