CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) — Cleveland Heights officials Sunday announced the arrest of one suspect in the murder of a local teenager.
The shooting occurred Thursday afternoon, July 16, outside of the Noble Food Deal. The victim, identified as a 19-year-old Issac Martin, of South Euclid, died after being transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.
A city-issued press release says police identified the shooter on July 19 as 26-year-old Collin Funches, of Cleveland, after a 72-hour manhunt involving multiple agencies. Police charged Funches with aggravated murder Tuesday, July 21.
