LORAIN, Ohio (WJW) – A dirt bike rider is dead after investigators say he rode into an active police scene in Lorain and crashed into a police cruiser Wednesday night.

While looking through the window, an officer noticed the suspect with two men sitting in the living room, a media release said.
Once they noticed the officers, the three people inside started to scatter but later surrendered and were handcuffed, according to the release.
According to police, while officers were confirming warrants for the three suspects, they reported hearing a dirt bike nearby and someone yelling and taunting them.
Then, a man on a dirt bike drove through the scene at speeds exceeding 70 miles per hour, narrowly missed officers in the street and crashed into an unoccupied police cruiser, the press release said.
