Local man pleads guilty interstate to drug trafficking

CLEVELAND (WKBN) — A Youngstown man has pleaded guilty in an interstate trafficking conspiracy that transported fentanyl from Arizona to Ohio.

According to a release from the Department of Justice, Alijaha Scott, 25, has pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances; and interstate travel in aid of racketeering.

Court documents show Scott, along with several co-conspirators, engaging in a trafficking operation of shipping parcels of fentanyl pills from Arizona to the Youngstown area from about April 2022 to 2024, which was then distributed to customers, according to the release…
