(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The mission of the Small Business Showcase is to promote local businesses and energize the community. The organization is throwing a community party on Saturday, July 19, at Snooze Eatery from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be food, music, photobooths, dancing, and a chance to meet like-minded community members. The event, titled The 719 Party, is fittingly happening on 7/19.
Event organizers Scottie Simpson and Brad Vogleman joined Loving Living Local hosts Justin Antweil and Krista Witiak to share how the event supports local businesses while giving back to the community.
“Colorado’s 150th Birthday is right around the corner, so why not start the party a little bit earlier?” said Vogleman. “The best part about the event is that 20% of the proceeds benefit two impact organizations. Proceeds will go to Food Trucks Against Homelessness and Broken Crayons Beauty.”
