Lawrenceville, Ga. — As the 2026 FIFA World Cup unfolds in nearby Atlanta, Gwinnett County residents won’t have to travel far to experience the excitement. A series of free, family-friendly community watch parties dubbed “Kick It in the Nnett” will bring the global tournament directly to local parks, ballparks, and town centers across the county.

The initiative, presented in partnership with local cities, Explore Gwinnett, and the Gwinnett Stripers, offers fans of all ages a chance to gather, cheer, and celebrate without purchasing a ticket to the matches themselves.
First Up: Spain vs. Cabo Verde at Coolray Field
The series kicks off on Monday, June 15, at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville with a watch party for Spain versus Cabo Verde. Gates open at 11 a.m., with the live broadcast beginning at noon on the stadium’s big screen.
