One Ohio couple turned a family tradition into a sweet way to celebrate their love.

After tying the knot in Dayton on Saturday, June 6, Aaron and Lacey Poston headed straight for their local roller skating rink to celebrate their wedding. The two spent their first few hours as a married couple skating around the local landmark — Hoover Skate Arena — that holds special significance for their family.

“We’ve been coming here for about two years,” Lacey told the Dayton Daily News. “[Aaron’s] parents, they actually started skating here about 30 years ago. Hoover, you know, has been open since 1947. We come here every Saturday and family skate.”

Aaron and Lacey met when he was stationed in her hometown of Toussaint, Ariz., while serving in the Air Force. During their 20-year-long relationship, the couple fostered and adopted three kids before moving back to Aaron’s hometown of Dayton three years ago…
