Everyone always seems to be talking about the winners from brewery competitions and wine tasting festivals, but who’s judging the best-tasting water? It is, after all, one of few things that humans must consume to survive.
Thankfully, those looking for the best of the best when it comes to H2O have the prestigious Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting competition to turn to, and it just so happens that a certain Colorado spot once again got a major nod.
In the 36th Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting competition, which took place in February 2026, Boulder County’s Eldorado Springs ended up getting ranked as home to the 3rd-best tasting municipal water in the nation. This is an uptick from their last placement in the same category of 5th in 2023 and it follows a ‘best in the U.S.’ placement in 2019 and 2016, a 4th-place ranking in 2018 and 2015, and a 5th-place ranking in 1999 and 1995…
