RINGGOLD COUNTY, Iowa — Authorities say a missing West Des Moines man was recovered from a southern Iowa lake on Sunday.
The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office says crews were dispatched on Saturday around 10:50 a.m. on a report of a missing man near Sun Valley Lake, located in northeast Ringgold County.
Officials say multiple emergency crews, including the Midwest Regional Dive Team, were called to the scene, and the search continued through the day until late Saturday.
The sheriff’s office says the search resumed Sunday morning, and at approximately 11:20 a.m., the missing man was recovered from the lake. Authorities have identified the man as 70-year-old Ronald Brown of West Des Moines…
