DES MOINES, Iowa – For many DART riders, the rollout of the new Reimagine DART system feels similar to the first week of school, learning new routes, checking schedules and figuring out where to go.
Sunday marked the first day of the redesigned transit system across central Iowa that reduced the number of routes from 27 to 11.
Through the end of the week, DART has employees stationed at Central Station, Park Fair Mall and the Walmart in Windsor Heights with tables, printed schedules and trip-planning materials to help riders navigate the new system…
